Chris Nixon
Director of Operations
“Being involved with the Human Health Project is a privilege. In providing the expertise of medical practioners to those who need it, HHP not only has the potential to improve the health and lives of people globally, but by its very nature is also one of many important reasons why everyone, no matter their circumstances, must have access to the internet now.” -- Chris

To the Human Health Project, Chris brings extensive experience in the oversight and management of the development and operations of complex global websites, providing real-time access to information to clients in all parts of the world. A linguist and translator, Chris also brings a passion about people and communication, and about providing creative design solutions with a seamless user / technology experience.

Peter Adams
Product Director
Peter has extensive experience as an executive in health care delivery and in health insurance. He has worked both in the private sector and in government agencies. His work includes a decade of management engineering in a large, integrated delivery system; a decade of physician practice management throughout the USA; and a decade administering public health insurance programs in the USA. When he is not volunteering for the Human Health Project, he is the executive director of a state agency providing health insurance to 200,000 children. He has a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Masters degree in Public Administration from UCLA.

Colin Tate
User Experience Director
Colin Tate has a ten-year history of advising companies across several industries on how to improve their web-based businesses and providing organizational and strategic consultancy to the commercial and non-profit sectors. During this time he has consulted for TheStreet.com, Warner Music Group, Atlantic Records, Elektra Entertainment Group, Elavon Global Payment Systems, The Post Office (UK), Network Solutions, The Economist, and Orange, as well as several other national/multinational companies.

In addition, Colin spent three years in Japan working for the Japanese Government, where he focused primarily on conflict resolution/negotiation between governmental staff.

Colin is Managing Director of Nemawashi Ltd, and holds several Advisory Board positions on socially-minded businesses. During the last three years, he has managed to bring £50M in additional revenue to his clients. Colin lives in London, United Kingdom.

Marie Barrese
Site Moderator (Volunteer)
Marie has worked as a Registered Nurse for 33 years. Her experience is mainly in the normal newborn and special care nurseries, Labor and Delivery, Maternity and Pediatrics. She currently has an MSN in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Marie is doing a PhD in Nursing Education. She is based in New Jersey, close to New York City.

Sarah Lynch
Site Moderator (Volunteer)
In 2007, Sarah graduated with a BA in Applied Psychology from the University College Cork, Ireland. She has spent the last few years travelling and working abroad. Positions held have involved teaching, research and clinical support duties. Sarah is currently based in the UK where she is studying for a MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience. Her future aim is to gain a place on a training program for clinical psychology and take advantage of the opportunity to broaden her personal and professional experience.

Jyothi Parimi
Site Moderator (Volunteer)
Jyothi, originally from India, graduated in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Homeopathy. For the next two years, she had a private practice in India. She arrived in the USA in 2008 with her spouse.
